The hand is an instrument vital to every person's life. When an injury occurs to the hand, people can suffer significant impairment in performing even the simplest of tasks such as signing our name, holding an eating utensil, or opening a door. The hand is a complex structure which requires expertise in anatomy as well as pathology of the hand. Many clinics claim to provide hand therapy services but in reality their staff falls short of the qualifications.
